Cowboy Town Review:

Cowboy Town starts out with Eden Cross aka Edie finding out her boyfriend of 3 years, Matt having sex with another women. She is so disgusted about this she decides she needs to get away for awhile. Edie had seen her father cheat on her mom so much growing up, she swore she would never be in that situation.
When Edie drives into Pine Crest she gets a strong feeling of home. Like this is where she belongs. She is immediately welcomed into the town, and gets a job working for Doreen in the Cow and Calf bar. Doreen also gives her a place to stay. While working the bar to help out the owner one night, Jackson Henley enters with his twin brother and he immediately catches Edie’s eye.
Edie is a strong woman and she is determined stay independent. She will not let herself settle. Jackson is determined to win Edie over. Eventually Edie has no choice but to give Jackson a chance. As much as Edie tries to deny Jackson she can't. She feels such a strong connection with Jackson.
I must say I really enjoyed Edie and Jackson's relationship. Their relationship is sweet, and romantic while being hot, and spicy. I really enjoyed those sexy steamy scenes with Jackson and Edie. These two have amazing chemistry.
I really enjoyed all the side characters also. Jules what a freaking AMAZING best friend. We all need a friend like her. She is very no non-sense girl. I enjoyed getting to know Jackson's brother Jeremy, and his son Oscar (who happens to be autistic).
I really enjoyed reading cowboy Town. There were many surprises along the way. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. Cowboy Town is a standalone book, however the characters involved here will provide additional stories in the rest of the series. Sometimes I had trouble understanding an Australian term but would eventually figure it out. For these reasons I gave Cowboy Town 4 stars its a very enjoyable fun book to read. While Cowboy Town was the first book I have read by Kasey Millstead I plan to read the next book in the series Sky Cowboy. Which is Ava and Jeremy's story.

Sky Cowboy Review:

Well Kasey Millstead has done it again. I really enjoyed reading Sky Cowboy.

Ava Crawley has loved Jeremy Henley her whole life. Yet, her sister Kennedy has convinced her that she has been with Jeremy and she would be sloopy seconds.
Since Ava has heard this from her crazy ass sister her whole life she believes it to be true. Ok let me say how much I HATED Kennedy. She is a jealous cow. UGH, I found myself cheering for Ava when she took Kennedy DOWN.
After a drunken kiss with Jeremy one night Ava is told by her sister that she has had sex with Jeremy in the past. Ava is so distraught over this she decides to go to Paris to be a nanny. While there Ava tries to move on with her life. Three years later Ava returns home. She then finds out that Jeremy has a son.
Jeremy God as much as I loved Jackson in Cowboy Town, I loved Jeremy even more. Jeez, I swooned over him. He is just so seet, and sexy, and such a great father.
He is just crazy over Ava and is tired of her running from him.

I loved watching Ava and Jeremy's story unfold. They have such AMAZING chemistry. Lets not forget little Oscar. WOW... I just feel in love with that little boy.
See what did I say CUTEST kid ever.
I was so excited to catch up with Jackson, Edie, and baby Olive. I also look forward to reading the next book Cowboy Dreams which is Jules and Clay's book. I gave Sky Cowboy 4 solid stars.

“Hey, Jeremy,” I slur.  The alcohol was definitely bringing out my
inner bravado.
“Hey Ava.”  He smiles at me and I melt.  feel like I could slide right off the stool and pool on the floor in a big alcoholic puddle.  "What’s going on?” He says nodding towards the Patron.

“Nothing much.” I slur again and then use my fingers to shove my tongue back in my mouth and wipe away any escaping drool at the same time.
“Want some company?”  He grins cheekily and all I can do is stare at his mouth; hypnotized.  I’m pretty sure my tongue is hanging out but I can’t do anything about it.  My reflexes are too slow and besides, Jeremy is just too delicious.

He chuckles, snapping me out of my reverie, and slides onto the stool beside me.

As we finish off the bottle of tequila together, we start to flirt.  Harmlessly at first, but then things start getting heated. I shift in my seat as he blows in my ear and whispers something that I can’t make out.  It doesn’t matter though, it’s still hot as hell.

“I need to pee,” I slur.  Wobbling as I stand, I make my way slowly outside, towards the ladies room.  Once there, I use the facilities and try to give myself a pep talk.  I need to calm down.  Focus.  Sober up a bit so I can enjoy Jeremy and actually remember having this time with him in the morning.  I wash my hands and walk out, running smack bang into a hard wall of warm solidness.

“Sorry,” I giggle before looking up into the hypnotizing clear blue eyes of Jeremy. He grips me around the waist and pushes me back into the wall.  His hand travels down my leg, pausing at my knee to lift up.  Automatically, I curl my limb around his waist.  He leans in and I smell his sweet, warm, alcohol induced breath as it mingles with mine for a split second before he touches his lips to mine.  I moan involuntarily and then gasp as he grinds his hardness against my softness. His tongue sweeps in and teases mine in an erotic dance.  My hands dive into his soft chocolate brown hair and I grip and tug causing a deep groan to rise from his throat.

“Get a room, Henley,” a voice calls as they walk by.  I immediately drop my leg and push him back slightly.  We’re both panting heavily.  I try my hardest to focus.  I’m so turned on its unbelievable.  I would have let him take my virginity right then and there if we hadn’t been interrupted.  But, we were. I take a deep breath and stumble back inside ignoring him calling my name.

Kasey Millstead lives a quiet life in country New South Wales,

Australia, with her husband and their four young children. She enjoys baking, singing (ridiculously out of tune) & spending time with friends and family.

Kasey has always harboured a deep love for reading and writing, and she is now lucky enough to be living her dream of being an Author.
