So it has been a good four years since I have truly blogger anything book related. I've updated a few times but it hasn't been anything major. Last year was the first year I actually got some reading done. I read 75 books and 52 of those were ARC's or books that I picked up for reviewers on my team but never read myself (I've been trying to clean off my kindle of ARC's and DOC's).
Anyways, last year I typed up a list of around 500 DOCs on my kindle. I originally started with the A's and then moved to the oldest files. So it's a mix of oldest and alphabetical order. I cut out the strips and put them in a container. I would pull out three or four titles at a time add them to my kindle and use text to speech to listen to them while I worked. A lot were DNF's for me because like I said I got them for members on my review team and honestly my taste in books has changed a bit so really some of them given different timing may have had different reviews. However, once I finished them I deleted them from my kindle in order to clear up space. Anyways, below is a list of the NetGalley/ARC books I read last year:

However, this year I also found a new favorite genre in dark romance and reverse harem. The darker the book the better in my book. I also have a couple new favorite author as you'll be able to tell by the list of other books read lol. Some of these I found on BookTok and bought the first book and ordered the rest of the series same day I started reading them. Others were random books I thought looked interesting so I ordered them. Some I listened to via Prime Reading at work but a lot are actual book format. So here are the other 23 books I read last year:

I look forward to increasing my reading goal to 75 and seeing how far over that I can go this year. As of now I'm already 2 books ahead of schedule and have several going right now as well. I also splurged and added Kindle Unlimited to my kindle so I can continue series I started on Prime Reading. I also bought books to complete several series I've been dying to read all the way through for Christmas and have been a little lax on my Colleen Hoover reading list lately so this year is about reading series that I already own and well just taking more time to just relax and enjoy a good book!!
As for this blog I probably won't do reviews as my job doesn't leave much time for that but maybe some cover reveals and release tours. I will also try to do a monthly post where I list what I completed that month for both DOC books and well any other books read.
