This book was a quaint mystery. Allie sees her crush from high school. Her life ends up crazy. Sam has returned to Salt Lake City to take care of his mom who is ill. He takes a temporary job at an academy. Sam and Allie attended there together. Tension rises when the body of Jackson Williams is found on the campus. He was the English teacher. He had disappeared 15 years ago but no one thought he was murdered. Allie and Sam form a partnership. They want to find out who killed their favorite teacher. Someone doesn’t want them to succeed and makes Allie a target. This story has the perfect combination of romance and mystery. I love books that can keep me guessing what is going to happen next. I enjoyed the plot and the romance is filled with memories from the past and things that were misunderstood. Will things turn out all right? The ending wasn’t what I expected. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
