Hollywood Dirt Review...

Cole Masten. Abandoned by his superstar wife, Hollywood’s Perfect Husband is now Hollywood’s Sexiest Bachelor: partying hard and screwing even harder. Watch out Los Angeles, there's a new bad boy in town.

Summer Jenkins. That’s me, a small town girl stuck in Quincy, Georgia. I cook some mean chicken and dumplins, can bluff a grown man out of his savings in poker, and was voted Most Friendly my senior year.

We were from different worlds. Our lives shouldn’t have collided. But then Cole Masten read a book about my small town. And six months later, his jet landed on our dusty airstrip, and he brought Hollywood with him.

From the start, I knew he was trouble. For our town. And for me.

Sometimes, opposites just aren’t meant to attract.

The book follows the happenings of a major movie star who is starring in and backing a new movie.  When he is banished to Georgia, where the movie will be shot, while his divorce proceedings are going on.  It also follows the girl small town southern girl who gets thrust into the limelight.  Can he get over his ex-wife in time to see what is in front of him?  Can she be the person they all need her to be in order to shoot this movie?  Can she let go of her past and become who she was always meant to be?  Can they find happiness with each other?
So I picked this book up because I saw it was among the first to be released by PassionFlix and the movie trailer intrigued me.  Needless to say I am interested to see how they adapt this book into a movie.  I absolutely loved the characters and the dynamic that was created between them.  The plot was extremely interesting and I really wanted more.  I have also fallen in love with the authors writing style so I will definitely be looking for more books real soon.
I would love to see what happens to the characters like Justin and Pennington(?) in the future because they seemed like interesting characters.  If you are looking for a good book then you should pick this one up soon.  Then you should jump on over to PassionFlix and watch it when it is released!!!  Can’t wait to see how they adapt it for a movie.  I mean a movie about a book which is about a movie about a book, should be good!
5 Coca-Cola bottles

So as many of you know this was the first movie put out by PassionFlix!  I had the chance to watch it several times now.  While it followed the book really great I found that some of my favorite parts of the book were left out.  There were also some major changes...for example: it isn't Coca-Cola in the movie but Crown Cola.  Due to branding rights I can completely understand this one because it probably would have cost thousands (at least) to use the name Coca-Cola.  One of the things I most looked forward to seeing was the shopping trips with the bags on their heads.

All in all the movie was excellently done and I plan to watch it a lot more.  I do wish I could watch it through an app on Amazon but for now I am happy to watch them on my laptop, kindle or phone.  If you have read the book then you should enjoy the movie.

The actors, writers and directors did an amazing job putting this together.  I loved watching the characters come to life right in front of my eyes!  Thank you PassionFlix for bringing great books to life for us avid readers!

4.5 stars

So I have also created a line of items for my store based around this book and I wanted to share them with you.  I don't have everything photographed yet or finished in some cases.  The collection will include: wine glass charms, various bracelets, bookmarks and keychains.  You may find some earring sets as well.

You can shop the store by visiting:

and these items can be found under the PassionFlix section of the store along with many others.  I am still working on several other books that are slated to hit PassionFlix at some point.  So check back often to see what pops up in the different sections.
