Neighbor From Hell 1: Playing For Keeps Review...

Done with being the world's biggest pushover, Haley decides that things are going to change starting with the aggravating neighbor who has too much charm and not enough restraint. What she didn't expect was to be sucked into his world, but Haley has a game plan and she won't let herself forget just what the bad boy next door is capable of.

The last thing Jason expected was for his little shy neighbor to go Rambo on him over some ruined flowers. After he decides to take her under his wing he can't help but notice that she fits very nicely in his life. Now the only thing left is to convince her that this is anything but a game.

REVIEW!!

This was a re-read of the book and so much better this time around.
This is the first book in the Neighbors From Hell series where you meet Haley and Jason.  They start out as enemy neighbors and then everything changes.  But they aren’t just neighbors.  That’s right they also work together.  Haley comes from a wealthy family but is nothing like her family.  Jason eats anything and everything put in front of him just like all the other men in his family.  Can the two of them meld together in order to become something much bigger than either of them expected they could be?  What could possibly go wrong?
I have been in a reading slump because all the books I need to read (review books) are not the books I want to read.  I have been craving a reread of several series for a while including this one.  Especially since I found the Honeymoon From Hell short stories and a book I haven’t read in the series.  So I started with re-reading book one and fell in love all over again.  I absolutely LOVE the Bradford men and I look forward to continuing the series.  R. L. Mathewson creates a world full of fun and laughter for you to delve into.  She makes it easy to feel like you are a part of the store and the world you are reading about.  Everything flowed smoothly and the pace was amazing.  The characters are absolutely hilarious and well rounded.  The plot was similar to many books in the genre but written in a way that made it completely unique.
I absolutely love R. L. Mathewson’s writing style and while I have not delved into her books past the NFH series I plan to do so soon.  I look forward to continuing my series re-read with the Honeymoon From Hell books in between.  I also look forward to continuing the series with the last book that came out.  If you have not read this series then you should absolutely do so.  However it is not a series for those under 18 at all.
5 stars!
