My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.
Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

REVIEW!!!
This book is the book that pulled me out of my last reading rut. The reading of this book came about when I was watching the previews before Beauty and the Beast. The preview for this movie came on and once the movie was over I went around the corner and bought the book.
I can tell you that it is an extremely quick read and it has some pretty fun illustrations in it. The story follows a girl who has never left her house because she was told that going outside would kill her. Then a new family moves in next door and everything starts to change for her. She decides that she would take a chance and leave the house just to see what she was missing. There is a little bit of love story, a little bit of rebellion and a little bit of overprotective parenting in this book.
I absolutely loved the different random pictures and such throughout this book. It was a fun way to interact more with this book. The story itself was good and that ending was mind blowing. I didn’t see that coming and was excited to read it. Like I said before this book brought me out of my reading funk a few months back and I can honestly say that I can’t wait to read more books by this author. She has woven an amazing story that I didn’t want to put down. Loved every second of this book!
