Sneaking Candy Review...

All I ever wanted was to make a name for myself as Candice Salinas, creative writing grad student at the University of Miami. Of course, secretlyI already have made a name for myself: as Candy Sloane, self-published erotic romance writer. Though thrilled that my books are selling and I have actual fans, if anyone at UM found out, I could lose my scholarship…and the respect of my faculty advisor, grade-A-asshole Professor Dylan.

Enter James Walker, super-hot local barista and—surprise!—my student. Even though I know a relationship is totally off-limits, I can’t stop myself from sneaking around with James, taking a few cues from my own erotic writing…if you catch my drift. Candy’s showing her stripes for the first time in my real life, and I’ve never had so much fun. But when the sugar high fades, can my secrets stay under wraps?

I don't even know what to say about this book but OMG...can you say book hang over!  It has been two weeks and I still don't have a clue what to say about the book.  So all I can say is SPOILER ALERT!

Candice has a crush on her professor, who she is also the Teaching Assistant for, but she also has a crush on the guy behind the counter at the coffee shop, who ends up being in the class she is teaching.  On the side she write's romance novels as Candy because otherwise it would screw up her chance at completing her education at this school.

Then things get interesting and she isn't sure what's up and what's down.  I loved the Candy character and I actually enjoyed reading about her struggles because I have actually been going through similar things with my family and writing career.  This book actually inspired me to just sit down and write.  Lisa is an amazing story teller and she makes you feel like your a part of the character.

Rating:

5 stars...I would give it like 25 stars if I could!
