Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: Sword of Summer Review...

Magnus Chase has always been a troubled kid. Since his mother’s mysterious death, he’s lived alone on the streets of Boston, surviving by his wits, keeping one step ahead of the police and the truant officers.

One day, he’s tracked down by a man he’s never met—a man his mother claimed was dangerous. The man tells him an impossible secret: Magnus is the son of a Norse god.

The Viking myths are true. The gods of Asgard are preparing for war. Trolls, giants and worse monsters are stirring for doomsday. To prevent Ragnarok, Magnus must search the Nine Worlds for a weapon that has been lost for thousands of years.

When an attack by fire giants forces him to choose between his own safety and the lives of hundreds of innocents, Magnus makes a fatal decision.

Sometimes, the only way to start a new life is to die . . .

REVIEW!!

I love mythology and I love Rick Riordan!  This was another amazing book!

Magnus Chase has been living on the streets since his mothers death.  On his sixteenth birthday his family starts looking for him.  It is the day he dies and becomes a norse warrior and finds out who his father is.  In true Rick Riordan a whole bunch of dangerous things happen and Magnus and friends save the world.

We all know Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series.  Now you get to meet her cousin Magnus.  In true Chase fashion he doesn't let us down because he does what he has to in order to get things done.  Quick wit and sarcasm ensue.

I can't believe how good this book was.  Not only was I entertained but I learned some new things as well.  I felt like I belonged in that world and on that quest with them.  So unbelievably good.  No words can say how much I love all of them Mr. Riordan's books.

5 Godly Stars!
