Knotted Roots Review...

Partying with friends and scoring a flawless tan is about all Roxie has on her list of things to make her Hampton's summer perfect.

Her parents, however, have other plans and Grandma Betty's farm is just one of them.

Just as her life is in shambles and the quaint town is suffocating her, she meets Chase.

Somewhere in the mix of bummer summer and small town doldrums, he becomes the boy she can't seem to avoid falling for. Just adding him to the picture, her stay starts to get better, even if she knows it has to end with the summer holidays.

That is until Betty drops a life-shattering bomb.
Roxie must make a choice that will change her life forever. What happens when a spoiled brat from New York learns the true meaning of love, loss, and forgiveness?

Can Chase and Roxie find a way to be together or is this just another summer romance?

REVIEW!

Another amazing book by this author.  I loved the Hidden Falls, which I read first (yeah I read them backwards) and this one is absolutely no different.  I laughed, cried and yelled at the characters

Roxie is New York City through and through.  However, this summer instead of going to The Hampton's with her friends, her parents are sending her to a grandmothers house in Perry Point, SC.  Roxie is pissed about this is and is more than happy letting people know how she feels about the fact that she had to go spend the summer with a grandmother she hadn't seen since she was 1.  Enter the hot farm hand, Chase who has his own issues.  Can Chase get through to Roxie and help her get past her issues and move on with her life?  Can Roxie fix her life and figure out what she wants?

Oh my goodness!  Such a touching story!  I love the characters of Perry Point, SC.  They all have their own issues but, in true small town fashion, they help each other through them.  The idea behind this book is amazing and so is the writing.  It was paced well and I never wanted to put it down let alone let it end.

I would recommend this book  and Hidden Falls as well.  They are unique because they are deep yet light at the same time.  I hope to get another book about these four amazing characters.  I will definitely be keeping my eyes open for more books by this author!
