All Out of Love Review...

Title:  All Out of Love
Author:  Lori Wilde
Series:  A Cupid Texas Novel (Book 2)

The second book in a dazzling new Cupid, Texas series by Lori Wilde.  Welcome to Cupid, where every wish for love comes true...

For years, a small group of women in Cupid, TX, led by Millie Greenway, have taken it upon themselves to keep the Cupid legend alive.  Now Millie has roped her four disbelieving granddaughters into joining the cause.

Lace Bettingfield knows for a fact that the Cupid legend is bogus.  As a shy sixteen-year-old, she left a letter at the statue and got nothing in return but heaps of embarassment when her letter ended up printed in the school newspaper.  But now the boy she longed for is back in town and Lace can't help wondering...what if?

This is an amazing story.  It has it's funny moments, sad moments, moments of clarity and oh so much more.  There is passion, hate, love and frustration all compacted into one story.  I love the authors attention to detail.  While this is the second book in the series and I have not read the first I didn't feel like I missed a thing.

Pierce is your average jock in the beginning but you kind of grow to love him.  Lace is your every day love stricken girl who is very good at hiding how she really feels about her love interest.  She is what sucked me into the story as we are alike in that tendency.

I have read a lot of stories that follow along these same lines but this is the only one that I have ever gotten truly sucked into.  The plot was well thought out.  I loved the location and characters and just how it all played out.  Lori created a fantastic world that you just sink into and you don't want to leave it.
