Reawakened Review...

When seventeen-year-old Lilliana Young enters the Metropolitan Museum of Art one morning during spring break, the last thing she expects to find is a live Egyptian prince with godlike powers, who has been reawakened after a thousand years of mummification.

And she really can't imagine being chosen to aid him in an epic quest that will lead them across the globe to find his brothers and complete a grand ceremony that will save mankind.

But fate has taken hold of Lily, and she, along with her sun prince, Amon, must travel to the Valley of the Kings, raise his brothers, and stop an evil, shape-shifting god named Set from taking over the world.

From New York Times bestselling author Colleen Houck comes an epic adventure about two star-crossed teens who must battle mythical forces and ancient curses on a journey with more twists and turns than the Nile itself.

REVIEW!!!

The love story between Lily and Amon is so fun.  Lily is a lonely girl who grew up in an upscale apartment in New York.  She spent a lot of her time exploring her favorite museum, The MET.  One day while she is doing some work in a quiet area where a new exhibit is going in something odd happens and her adventure begins.

Amon is one of three brothers who each play their part in saving the world from evil every few hundred years.  But now with archaeologist digging up the past he has woken up in an exhibit in The MET without his soul.  So he attaches himself to the first person he meets, Lily.  He now has to use Lily's energy to save the world and find his brothers.

Okay so I love Colleen Houck's story telling ability.  She writes amazing mythological stories and I love learning about new myths.  I struggled with this book the first time I read it, however on this re-read I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I loved the characters and the story.  I love Colleen's writing style.  The plot is unique and the characters were realistic.  I am hoping to read the rest of the series real soon.

4.5 ancient stars!
