REVIEW:

What kind of ending is that? I hate cliffhangers and boy does this one leave you hanging.

Emily is on the run from her past when she meets Shane who is in the middle of his own war with his family. Shane is trying to clean up his families company before the FBI shows up again and nobody is making it easy on him. Can Emily keep her secrets from everybody? Can Shane figure out what his family has been up to and save the company?

These characters are interesting to say the least. I do wish it would have given you even the slightest hint as to Emily's past. The fact that you didn't see into Emily's past made it kind of hard for me to get into since I felt like I was missing half the story. But besides that it was well written, with great character and a decent flow and pace.

However, with the issues I had between the cliffhanger and the unknown about Emily I would have to give this book:

4 dangling stars

A NOTE FROM LISA:

This series will have FOUR full-length books in it. The first four will be Emily and Shane's story and there will be a fifth fir a secondary character’s story (more information to come soon). I don't have covers or buy links for books 3 and 4, but I DO have a little information on book 2, DAMAGE CONTROL!!
