Anna Dressed In Blood Audio Book Review...

Cas Lowood has inherited an unusual vocation: He kills the dead. So did his father before him, until he was gruesomely murdered by a ghost he sought to kill. Now armed with his father's mysterious and deadly atheme, Cas travels the country with his kitchen–witch mother and their spirit–sniffing cat. They follow legends and local lore, destroy the murderous dead, and keep pesky things like the future and friends at bay. Searching for a ghost the locals call Anna Dressed in Blood, Cas expects the usual: track, hunt, kill. What he finds instead is a girl entangled in curses and rage. She still wears the dress she wore in the day of her brutal murder in 1958: once white now stained red and dripping with blood. Since her death, Anna has killed any and every person who has dared to step into the deserted Victorian she used to call home. Yet she spares Cas's life.

REVIEW!

Cass is a ghost hunter/killer who is working towards avenging his father’s death.  When he meets Anna he knows that she is different than any ghost he has killed before and wants to save her more than anything.  Anna is a ghost who was murdered and then cursed and all she wants is to be set free at last.  What happens when a human falls in love with a ghost?  Can Cass save her and himself in the process?  Does Cass make friends and defeat his father’s killer?

This is a book that has been on my TBR list for a while but I just kept putting it off.  I enjoyed it.  There were great characters and an intriguing plot.  There were plot twists all over the place.  While I enjoyed the book itself I don’t know that I was a huge fan of the narrator of this audiobook.  I look forward to looking for the next book to see what happens with these characters after everything goes down.

5 stars!
