Game of Love Review...

Game of Love
The Remington’s Book One
By: Melissa Foster

Ellie Parker is a master at building walls around her heart. In the twenty-five years she’s been alive, Dex Remington has been the only person who has always believed in her and been there for her. But four years earlier, she came to Dex seeking comfort and then disappeared like a thief in the night, leaving him a broken man.

Dex Remington is one of the top PC game developers in the United States. He’s handsome, smart, and numb. So damn numb that he’s not sure he’ll ever find a reason to feel again.

A chance encounter sparks intense desires in Ellie and Dex. Desires that make her want to run—and make him want to feel. A combination of lust and fear leads these young lovers down a dangerous path. Is it possible to cross a burned bridge, or are they destined to be apart forever?

OH MY GOD!!!  Best book of the series (that I have read) so far in my opinion.  I started it at 1 am on Sunday morning and finished it at 2 am on Monday.  I couldn't put it down and couldn't sleep till I finished it.

Ellie is fighting the demons of her past.  Dex is trying to let her in again but is afraid she will run again.  This is an amazingly thought out book and the characters are extensively thought out.  I love that Dex is a video game programmer and was really touched by the fact that he had included a part of their past into his newest game.  It was by far my favorite scene of the book.

I would absolutely love to see more about these two characters in later books.  I thought I like Jack Remington the most out of the whole series but Dex just beat him out by far.  A lot of big issues were talked about in this book and it very touching and moving.  Ellie is by far the bravest woman I know and Dex is a very very patient man.

I highly recommend this book to everybody.  It is book one of The Remington Family but book 10 or something like that of the Love in Bloom Series.  I can't wait to read about the rest of the Remington boys and their sister!

RATING:

5 out of 5 stars (would love to give it infinite stars if I could though)
