This book was so well written that it truly deserves 9stars.
There is so much that goes into this trio of characters.
Colby comes from an absolute nightmare. His dad is a drunk due to the pain of losing a child. He lost his baby brother and his dad turned on him for being alive.
Hensley has had it drilled into her head to get out of town all her life after her mother missed her big break because she got pregnant. Her enemy,Brittany is the devils spawn. She likes to make Hensley miserable whenever and however she can.
Dusty is Hensley's best friend and Colby's roommate. Dusty is her protector and confidant . The three of them are awesome together when they make music but what happens to friendship and blooming love when only one is offered a country music contract ?
That is all that I can say without giving it away but there are shocking twists that made me want to scream.
I will be on the lookout for more of her books as she is an amazing author.
