Blue Lines Review...

Blue Lines
Nashville Assassins #4
By: Toni Aleo

Blurb

Opposites do more than just attract in Toni Aleo’s latest Nashville Assassins novel about a very bad boy and the good girl he can’t resist.

The instant Piper Allen sees Erik Titov, she wants him—wants his rock-hard body, sure, but the strength and mystery that lies behind that superstar hockey jock demeanor, too. So when he sidles up to her at a bar and slinks his arm around her waist, she’s lost. What follows is the wildest night of her life . . . followed by inevitable heartbreak the next morning. And then, a few weeks later, a very big surprise: two blue lines on a pregnancy test.

Only a check to the head could make Erik fall for a nice girl like Piper. But since their crazy-sexy night together, he’s been trying to forget about her alluring body by falling into bed with every woman in Nashville, and it’s not working. So when Piper shows up at his house with a baby-bomb to drop, it doesn’t take much for Erik to suggest the nuclear option: marriage. While it’s supposed to be all for show, the second they say “I do,” the ice between them starts to melt into sizzling steam.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: Taking Shots, Trying to Score, and Empty Net.

“I thought for the longest time you didn’t notice me,” she found herself saying.

Erik’s eyes softened, his thumb running slowly along her bottom lip. “Maybe I wasn’t looking, Piper, but I am now”—he placed a kiss to the side of her mouth—”and sweetheart, I’m not looking anywhere but at you right now.”

“Ma’am, we’re here,” the cabdriver announced.

Breaking their heated glance, Piper looked out the window to see they were in front of her apartment. The cabbie was looking at her through the rearview mirror and when she glanced over at Erik, he, too, was looking at her expectantly. She had a choice to make, she knew that, and a month from now she might decide it was not the right one. But at that moment, there was only one option.

I give this book 5 stars!!

Piper is in love with Eric.  She thinks he doesn't know she exists even though they spent a steamy night she will never forget.  Erio never forgot Piper.  Eric h as demons that don't let him think he is worthy of her.  And even though they both think they forgot each other they will something to remind them of their one night together for the rest of their lives, a baby.   I loved loved this book.  This the 5th book in the Assasins Series by Toni Aleo and she never diasappoints.  The books just keep getting better and better.  I love how in each new book she never forgets past characters.  We go a little insight into what was going on in their lives now and I love that.  The book was amazing.  Piper loved Eric with everthing in her and never gave up.  She let him become the man he was suppossed to be and it was an amazing journey!  I highly recommend this book to everyone!!!
